説明
ガントル(Boldore)から進化した『こうあつポケモン(Compressed Pokémon)』のギガイアス(Gigalith)。このシリーズの最終進化形ということで、英名の前半部分はgiant(巨人)の形容詞のgigantic(巨大な、膨大な)が由来です。また『いわタイプ』ということで、後半部分は英語で『石』を意味する連結語のlithが由来です。例としてmegalith(巨石)、paleolith(旧石器)、bathlith(底盤)などがあります。
